He graduated in Economics from the University of Naples. Just after finishing his studies, he entered into the family business, following in the footsteps of his older brother, Corrado, a civil engineer. At the time, the business was one of the largest and most important Italian companies operating in the field of construction of large civil road works. He formed a new business unit dedicated to large distributions, acting as a vital financial influence for the company.
In the late 90s the two brothers had transformed the family business into a real estate company, with responsibility for not only the construction of buildings but also of their management, which has now become the core business IRGENRE Maximall Management.
Paolo Negri is now the head of the Irgenre Group.
Founder of the IRGENRE Group
After graduating with a degree in civil engineering from the University of Naples, he approached the market in its infancy through the family business, which was gradually shifting its core business to the field of engineering by building diesel engines. Shortly thereafter, he had the opportunity to continue his work in civil engineering, entering the field of large retailers. He first focused his efforts in the design and construction of large commercial complexes in Southern Italy and then sold them to the leading brand GDO (Grande Distribuzione Organizzata).
In the late 90s, Corrado and his brother Paul transformed the business into a real estate company, with responsibility not only for the construction of the buildings, but also of their management.
