Works by young artists are on display at the Maximall Pontecagnano. The “Panettoni to Art” is hosting improvisational theatre at the Maximall shopping centre, performed by students studying urban decor.
From October 10th to 23rd, the Mall will be transformed into “The Malls of Art” in collaboration with students from the Sabatini-Menna Art School of Salerno.
The Maximall Shopping Centre dedicates the month of October to the promotion of culture and art and invites the public to a new and unique event in collaboration with the Sabatini-Menna Art School of Salerno.
“Learn the art and put it aside” is a narration of the famous proverb from which it borrows its name. On this occasion, the Mall Maximall’s art will not be set aside; it rather allows talented young artists to express themselves and share their ideas through the work done by the Centre’s clients.
In collaboration with the Sabatini-Menna Art School of Salerno, 25 students will interact and turn 25 road bollards into real “works of art”. The dominant theme will be “Fashion”.
The schedule of this event, entitled “Panettoni to Art”, is as follows:
October 10th-13th, 2016:
-Monday, October 10th to Thursday, October 13th, 2016, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, watch a live exhibition of artistic works in the centre of the shopping mall.
– Saturday, October 15th, 2016, at 5:00 pm, witness the inauguration of the exhibition. Students’ works will be set up at a mall exhibition for public viewing.
-The Direction of the Maximall Shopping Centre: for the occasion, the Institute will donate a plaque and a monetary gift for the purchase of educational materials for the Labour Thanksgiving event.
The exhibition will be on display at the Maximall Mall Gallery from October 15th to October 23rd.
